Brothers
Who takes pictures of their kids walking into school? That goes against child/parent public code, right? Well, I found out Monday afternoon that my wife does. And I'm glad she did. My oldest son, Deven, is beginning his last year of elementary school. I don't even want to think about that. My youngest, Gaven, is beginning his first year of kindergarten at the same school. There's never enough time to really grasp the speed of life. It's surreal when I look at this pic.
Though I see numerous lessons and have many thoughts just from seeing my two sons walk together into a familiar environment for one and a whole new world for the other, I will keep this simple.
Though grade and age dictate their necessary separation; they are together. They are brothers. And they are ok with it.
With tears in my eyes, I quote the simple words of Forrest Gump..."That's all I got to say about that."
